Pop-Up Event Report: Sudbury Japan Festival 2024

The first time for Japan Festival as a vendor. It was a great experience to see lots of Japanese cultural lovers up north!

  • The Event Name: Sudbury Japan Festival
  • Date: July 20, 2024 (Sat)
  • Time: 11 AM – 5 PM
  • Weather: Rainy in the morning but sunny in the afternoon
  • Location: Bell Park Amphitheatre in Sudbury

On July 20 (Saturday), we embarked on an exciting journey to participate in our first-ever Japan Festival as a vendor! We left Toronto at 5 AM, took a short break in Parry Sound, and arrived at the beautiful Bell Park Amphitheatre in Sudbury around 9:30 AM.

A Rainy Start but a Bright Atmosphere

As the festival began, the weather greeted us with light rain. However, that didn’t stop enthusiastic visitors from coming! Many people arrived with umbrellas, eager to explore the booths and experience Japanese culture.

Lively Performances & Amazing Energy

The festival featured fantastic performances, delicious Japanese food, and unique cultural exhibits. The energy of the crowd and the passion of fellow vendors made the experience even more exciting!

As the sun finally came out in the afternoon, even more people gathered, making the event feel warm and vibrant. Engaging with so many Japanese culture lovers up north was truly inspiring!

Thank You, Sudbury!

Being part of Sudbury Japan Festival was an incredible experience, and we are so grateful to everyone who stopped by our booth. We loved sharing our handcrafted Japanese-inspired items and can’t wait to come back next year!

On the way back, I visited the Nickel mueum

Thank you for having us there. We have nice experience. Hopefully, we can see you again next year!
