Today, I tried setting up a second table. Since I work full-time, I’ve been crafting a lot of upcycled kimono goods. Thanks to the Lakeview Artisan Market, I was able to expand my display.
As you can see from this video, there’s always great music playing in the background. It was a bit windy, but the temperature was just right for enjoying a Sunday outdoors.
As a vendor, setting up for an outdoor market comes with challenges. I realized I need to improve how I display items on my hanging rack—it was unstable, and I had to keep worrying about it. Thankfully, some kind customers helped me organize my booth. Thank you so much!
This year, due to construction at the Small Arms Inspection Building, all farmers’ and artisan markets will be held outdoors. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy the summer outside!
