Kimono is a Japanese traditional garment which has been worn for a long time. Do you know when it came ??
Well, it is said that the idea of wearing Kimono was brought from China more than thousands of years ago. As you see, Chinese traditional dresses look like similar patterns to that of Japanese.
Now, we can see people put kimono on in the traditional events. One of them, called Musha-Gyoretsu(武者行列), the march of Samurai held by local people disguised in samurais and princesses in Matsue, Shimane prefecture. They march about 4 km heading to Matsue Castle, with a big owner, Yoshiharu Horio. They represent Yoshiharu Horio enters into the castle in the gorgeous era. A lot of visitors from other places enjoy this event with numerous bloomed cherry blossoms in April
